Own project, rebuilt on made-up data

Large files into reports.

In my job I built tools that take exports too big for Excel and turn them into the reports a team actually needs. That code belongs to the company, so here is the same idea rebuilt from scratch on a generated file.

Everything on this page runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, not even your own file if you drop one in.

1. Get a file

A sales export the way an ERP spits it out: one line per order, a year of orders, a few planted problems.

2. Build a report

Pick what to group by and what to add up. Or use one of the ready-made ones.

3. Problems in the file

The checks that save the most time: duplicates, empty cells, negative numbers, dates that can't be right.

What the real version did.

The same thing, on files of a few million rows, on a schedule, with the reports landing in the team's inbox every morning instead of someone opening Excel and waiting for it to freeze. Each report was written once, with the person who needed it, and then ran on its own.

If you have an export like this, the first project is one report, built in a week, from €400. Tell me which one ›
